There was a celebration of Advertiser Day and the awarding ceremony for the participants of the Advertising Festival at the Sumy State University. The Research Centre for Regional Security joined the event.

The Advertising Festival for youth "Eighth hue- 2016" is held for the third time for creative people who want to try their hand at creating interesting and high-quality advertising. Three nomination categories are relevant, both on the city level and on the whole country level. One of the topics of the Festival was an issue of safety, relations between Ukraine and NATO, in particular. Today it is an important and urgent issue, which is one of the priorities of the Research Center for Regional Security.

This year a lot of interesting and quality materials were presented. School and university students who are interested in the topic and its security aspects, were able to submit their works in thematic nomination "Ukraine and NATO - Partnership for Peace." Participants created social advertising, which demonstrates the importance of national security understanding, partnership and cooperation with other countries and relevant organizations. Special awards were given for two works by students of the RK-41 (specialty "Advertising and public relations") Alexei Zaloznyi and Vladyslav Skorokhoda. In their works they successfully highlighted the possibility of Ukraine's cooperation with NATO. The director of the Center Nikolay Nazarov presented the winners with diplomas and valuable books.

Advertising, which has a variety of formats and its manifestations, is everywhere around us. People who create quality advertising should be good psychologists, marketers, designers, journalists. The calling to think creatively and to grasp the highlights of life - that it what a professional advertiser does.
