On November, 4 the director of the Research Center of Regional Security of Sumy State University Nikolay Nazarov delivered a lecture on "NATO and Ukraine: history of cooperation." The audience of the lecture were students and graduate students of SSU, during which the lecturer opened the key milestones of relations between Ukraine and NATO, key decisions and their consequences for both sides.

In particular, the detailed analysis of the decision in Bucharest, Warsaw and Wales NATO summit and what consequences they had for Ukraine.

During the discussion, students actively participated in the discussion of a lecture, taking the special interest and asking questions about the benefits that Ukraine receives from cooperation with NATO, risks and prospects for closer cooperation.

The Research Center for Regional Security will continue to hold public lectures and seminars on urgent issues related to security.
