All-Ukrainian sociological research "Ukrainian Youth values - 2016" was conducted recently by the Centre of Independent Sociological Research "Omega" for the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. In the fulfilled work one may found the analysis of social youth development, implementation mechanisms, and youth involvement in social processes and social life, as the portal "Public Space" reports.

The issue of security, euro-integration, readiness to defend their country today is particularly relevant. These issues were also given a place in the study of Ukrainian youth values. According to the results, 30.2% of young people of our country are willing to defend Ukraine in arms, but 52% of young people want to protect their homeland in a non-violent way. Modern Ukrainian youth began to pay more attention to studying the history of their country and to participate in the of national-patriotic activities.

In particular, 19.2% of Ukrainian young people want to get more information on the skills and knowledge of first aid and tactical medicine according to NATO-standard, and 17.2% want to get a military and patriotic training according to NATO standards. A young Ukraine is committed to European level that can be seen from following results: 63.7% responded positively to Ukraine's accession to the EU and 48.3% are on Ukraine's accession to NATO.

The respect for customs and traditions of Ukrainian people takes the first place among Ukrainian youth values ​​ (35.4%). This shows that young people value their country and want to know more about the comprehensive development of Ukraine since its origins.
