The head of the National Security Bureau of Poland (BNB) Pavel Solokh visited Kyiv. Mr. Solokh held meetings with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Secretary of National Security and Defense Oleksandr Turchynov, and today participated in the opening ceremony of the XIII International Specialized Exhibition "Armory and Security - 2016".

During a meeting with Petro Poroshenko, the interlocutors discussed the situation in Donbass, as well as bilateral cooperation in military and military-technical sphere.

"At the meeting with the NSB Poland Pawel Solokh noted the success of the Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian team. Using the opportunity, he thanked the Polish side for assistance in professional training of Ukrainian officers and military doctors. We are keen to strengthen the bilateral cooperation and expect the signing of Ukrainian-Polish agreement on cooperation in defense very soon "- Petro Poroshenko wrote on his facebook-page.

Turchynov with Solokh also discussed urgent areas of cooperation in the security and defense sectors.

"A lot of interesting and promising projects in the defense sector are related to the production of high-quality weapons and military equipment. But I am convinced, that we can raise the bar even higher, creating new joint ventures, and other projects that will strengthen the defense of Poland and Ukraine ", - Alexander Turchinov said after the meeting.

The head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Pavel Solokh noted that cooperation NSB and Defense Council of Ukraine has a "permanent nature of work" and is a reflection of bilateral cooperation at the highest level.

"Our goal is a shared vision and common understanding of the future, not the past inspection - P.Solokh said, adding that Poland and Ukraine are strategic partners. - And, of course, the most important question, that we decide is to ensure the Ukrainian question to be neithe forgotten, nor to be pushed "on the periphery" of the international politics. And to ensure the existance of such an understanding among politicians,that security of Ukraine - does not only deal with the security of Poland and the Baltic countries, the so-called eastern flank of NATO, but is the international issue of European security. "

Today P.Solokh took part in the opening of the XIII International Specialized Exhibition "Armory and Security 2016" and X International Aerospace Salon "Aviasvit XXI".
