From 21 July to 2 August, the Head of the Center Mykola Nazarov attended the Summer Euro-Atlantic Academy in Portugal. This year, the Academy was hosted by the Lisbon Military Academy, which was attended by about 50 security experts.

The main thematic block of the event was the situation in the field of international security, as well as the role of the EU, NATO and other influential organizations in the world. Attention has been paid to the factors of destabilization in the world and how their impact can be minimized. NATO enlargement policy was considered and there was a real chance for Ukraine to become a NATO member in the near future.

New knowledge and contacts will help expand the Center's research topics and implement the project in collaboration with international partners.
