In the period 2020-2022 the team of the Center will join in the implementation of the research project "Development of the methodology of cooperation of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine to counteract the legalization of criminal proceeds" (registration number 0120U100474).

The purpose of the work is to develop a new methodology for the interaction of law enforcement agencies among themselves, financial institutions and other legal entities in combating and combating the legalization of criminal proceeds as a prerequisite for improving their effectiveness in the field of counteraction and combating money laundering, which will lead to theft development of the financial system and growth of living standards of the Ukrainian citizens.

The project is being implemented by the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications and Research Centre for Regional Security based on Sumy State University. The project manager is Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oleg Reznik, the co-director of the project is Mykola Nazarov, Ph.D.
