On March 11, Sumy State University hosted a training game on conflict situations in political communication. Students and scholars from Sumy region joined the event.

Certified communications trainer, Crisis Semiotic Studios founder Andrey Zagorodsky worked with the students. During the event, students learned more about modern political communication, the psychological component of political conflict, and the fundamental difference between conflict and crisis. In modern examples, the trainer has shown how to deal with crises and conflicts, how to behave during interviews and what to do during a conflict.

During the stimulation game, the students worked out the situation of political crisis - the absence of the party leader before submitting documents to the CEC. The six teams represented the interests of the various actors and communicated within the group and among themselves how to deal with the crisis.

The training was organized by the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technology in collaboration with Research Centre for Regional security with the support of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine.
