After the revolutionary events in Ukraine society goes through precipitous transformations that influence psychoemotional state of people. The devaluation of hryvnya, raise of prices and tariffs, unstable political situation and war on the East of the country play a big role in how people feel and perceive the environment. How can you describe the contemporary mental state of Ukrainian society and what can you advise to those people who take all the negative events emotionally?

It stands to mention that quick socio-economic changes for the social consciousness and also its owner – separate human very frequently are the factors of a big psychological stress. In general, the state of stress is quite a natural phenomenon. In psychology stress is understood as the general activation of an organism, a kind of training of psychological and physical stamina. On the other hand the state of constant stress at last exhausts the energy of an individual and can lead to different destructive consequence. Speaking about the situation in Ukraine, we can put down the presence of factors that provoke the symptoms of stress outness at both the public consciousness level at large and the individual level. We can pay attention to several factors. First of all, there are 2013 events, Maidan - very emotionally charged forms of social behavior that provoked considerable power surge. Then fast social and political changes, events related to the ATO began. All these factors are significant stressors, that can provoke a variety of maladjusted responses.

Generally, there are three forms of maladjusted responses to stressful situations - change of behavior (antisocial behavior), emotional disturbances and somatization of stress.
According to the statistics, nowadays the third form of response to stress is typical for Ukraine, namely it is its somatization, which shown by increasing of incidence. In addition, we can say that the morbidity covers a very wide range of forms of its symptoms - from cold, when people take cold more often, to such nasty forms as cancer and cardiovascular diseases.Based on the fact that social consciousness reacts to any external changes quite slowly it is possible to confirm that at present we have only primary forms of respond to a stressful situation and level of morbidity of people will rise following years.

Are there ways to resist stress? Absolutely. For certain individual stress factor is the situation that causes negative emotions, but on which person can not influence. First of all, you need to change the "focus" of your own consciousness, concentrating on those forms of your own existence, which are subject to our influence and can be a source of positive emotions - sports, nature, communicating with a person you love or your children, creativity … In fact, life has the greatest value ".
