On September 7, Sumy State University was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, Mrs. Anka Feldguzen. At the meeting of the Ambassador with the university management the prospects of further development of academic mobility of students and graduate students of SSU in Germany, implementation of joint Ukrainian-German scientific and social projects were discussed.

Mykola NAZAROV, Head of the Reserach Centre for Regional Security, acquainted the Ambassador with the Center's activities, focusing on projects in the field of ensuring national resilience, informing the public on European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine. During the meeting with the staff of the Center, the Ambassador briefed on the activities of German think tanks and university centers engaged in security and defense research.

The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany noted the strong scientific and educational potential of SSU, in particular, the high development of IT technologies and international cooperation, which allows the university to feel confident in the global scientific and educational space.
