On 10 February, Research Centre for Regional Security hosted a lecture by Tanya Hartmann, an expert at the Political Affairs and Security Policy Division at NATO Headquarters. During the discussion with students from different universities of Ukraine, they discussed the prospects of providing Ukraine with an Action Plan for NATO membership and the importance of implementing the Annual National Program Ukraine-NATO for membership in the Alliance.

According to Ms. Hartmann, Ukraine currently has a tool for rapprochement with the Alliance - the NATO-Ukraine Annual National Program. High-quality implementation of the program and, in a specific area, approximation of the standards of the entire security and defense complex to NATO are extremely important.
